Explore TR1000The TR Series
Spherical stainless steel abrasive for metal-part deburring, peening and descaling. TR4000 is described as a low-wear medium with a long service life, recommended for stainless steel, titanium and aluminum workpieces.

Material & Application
TR4000 is a spherical stainless steel abrasive for deburring, peening and descaling metal parts.
Spherical particles made from stainless steel.
TR4000 is described as a low-wear abrasive with a long service life.
Recommended for wet blasting stainless steel, titanium and aluminum parts.
Applications
TR4000 particle sizes span 20–325 mesh. The following ranges are published as guidance for different treatment goals.
20–80 Mesh
Removal of heavy scale, rust and rough burrs.
80–150 Mesh
Surface cleaning while limiting excessive damage or unwanted roughness.
150–325 Mesh
Creating a uniform, aesthetic finish on electronic components.

Published Distribution Example. Particle diameter (μm) is shown horizontally, with cumulative (%) and interval (%) axes. The values below are transcribed from this figure.
This figure illustrates the published particle size distribution. It does not define the specification of every supplied grade or batch. Confirm the required media grade for your application.
The example shows a rising cumulative curve and a peaked interval curve against particle diameter (μm). The separate table lists particle diameter and content.
| Particle Diameter (μm) | Content (%) |
|---|---|
| 0.500 | 0.00 |
